Stirfry Delight: Szechuan String Beans
Here’s a quick, delicious recipe from the kitchen of Seema Gupta. With steamed rice, it makes for a quick, delicious and healthy meal.

- 2 cups French beans
- 1/4th cup red bell pepper (chopped lengthwise)
- 1/4th cup yellow bell pepper (chopped lengthwise)
- 1/4th cup white onion (chopped)
- 2 tbsp Szechuan chili sauce
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oil
Chop the edges of the beans, leaving the rest of it intact. Heat oil in a pan, add beans. Stir for 2 minutes. Add onions, bell peppers and salt. Stir for 5 min in medium heat. Cover for 2-3 minutes. Add Szechuan sauce and soy sauce. Stir for 5 min. Serve hot.
