Two years after Ra.One, Anubhav Sinha has come back with the release of Warning. His Gulaab Gang with Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla is up for release as well. Meanwhile, he is also making a big stride by turning producer with both films. Amongst other things, the filmmaker admits that it was a gradual process that allowed him to reach a point where he could raise money.

“I have been around for long enough for people to know that if I am working on something with someone, there is certain amount of trust that I gain. Of course after Ra.One, it has been easier to reach out to people too,” says Sinha.

Talking about Ra.One, he seemed to be quite dignified in staying low despite all the noise around him, Shah Rukh, and the film after it's release. How did he manage that?

“There wasn't anything special that I did. Dignified people, no matter what they do, remain dignified,” says Anubhav with a straight face.

As for him still being in touch with his Ra.One star, Sinha says, “Yes, Shah Rukh and I are in regular touch. We have shared so much making Ra.One, it is a very special relationship that I share with him. I don't have to meet him every month or be in each of his parties. However I know that I have a friend in him.”

Akshay's Girl: Cherishes Shah Rukh's Compliments

(Above): Aditi Rao Hydari

Aditi Rao Hydari, soon to be seen in Akshay Kumar’s Boss, may not be sounding overtly ecstatic but she is happy for sure. In a recent event at London, she was complimented by, none other than, Shah Rukh Khan. The superstar was of a strong belief that the upcoming heroine was doing well for herself in the industry and wanted her to sustain the momentum while not conforming to the ways of the world.

Confirms Aditi, “Yes, recently I was in London where I was dancing with Shah Rukh Khan. He was very kind and encouraging. He is someone who I admire so much and if he takes interest in me and my work, it is indeed a big deal for me.”

Apparently, the actor wished her well and also shared a few tidbits around how to make a place in the industry for a long innings.

“One thing that meant a lot to me was when he said that I should never change and be the way I am," reminisces Aditi, “His words still play in my mind. He had no reasons to be so nice to me and yet he came forward. See, I have not grown up with him, I don't go to his house, my parents don't know him, and still he cared for me.”

Such has been the impact of that one conversation with Shah Rukh Khan that the young woman, who would soon be seen in Akshay Kumar-starrer Boss as the only leading lady, has made a resolve to live up to the high expectations that have now been set for her.

“I would now work five times harder to gain such kind of response over and over again. I want him to be able to say the same thing again when I meet him next,” smiles Aditi.

“I am new here. Every day when I meet a new person, it is a huge moment for me. Every compliment that comes from an industry person means a world to me,” confesses Aditi, who had made a good impression in her last release, Murder 3, “You can have talent and good looks but then that is inherent. What I have control over is my conduct and hard work. This is what I can give to the industry, more so because I don’t take anything out there for granted.”

Katrina or Deepika: The Numero Uno Heroine of 2013

(Above): Deepika Padukone (l) and Katrina Kaif.

The battle of supremacy between Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif isn't going to stop for some more time. Just when it seemed it would be only Katrina Kaif who would be signing off the year with a biggie,in true Bollywood spirit, picture abhi baaki hai.

“With Deepika's Kochadaiiyaan announced for December, she would be meeting Katrina again in the arena whose Dhoom 3 is arriving in the same month. With the ladies vying for the ‘Number One’ slot before 2013 comes to a close, this clash would be keenly awaited,” says a source.

Since both films would be separated by just a week, the two actresses would be practically breathing down each other's neck.

Kochadaiiyaan is expected to arrive on Rajinikanth's birthday (Dec. 12) while Katrina's Dhoom 3 with Aamir Khan in the lead, releases on Dec. 20. Though it is these two men who are expected to drive the show, there is a lot at stake for the two leading ladies too,” the source adds.

Incidentally, teasers of both films have been released practically next to each other which further accentuates the battle and also hints on how intense it is going to get for both the biggies.

Informs a trade insider, “There is a lot at stake for Deepika as well as Katrina. Deepika has already scored four successes in a row - Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Race 2 and Cocktail and would be looking at ending the year on a high with Ram Leela followed by Kochadaiiyaan. On the other hand, Katrina too has scored four major biggies already - Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Ek Tha Tiger, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. She has to keep the flag high with Dhoom 3. Frankly, neither of the two ladies can afford to drop the ball.”

Riteish Deshmukh: Grand Masti, Not An Easy Film

(Above): Riteish Deshmukh (2nd from r) in "Grand Masti."

Riteish Deshmukh has now scored a rare double hat trick of hits. With five back to back successes already against his name, Housefull, Double Dhamaal, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, Housefull 2, Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, the actor has now made it six in a row with Grand Masti.

“I have done comedies in the past but honestly, I have never been embarrassed with the content. Even in Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, which had quite a few double meaning dialogs, there was never an uncomfortable moment. However in case of Grand Masti, there were quite a few outrageous scenes. Some of these were physically complex too, while many lines were shocking. That's what made it different, so yes, Grand Masti wasn't an easy film to do. As actors, we were convinced it all looks so easy in the final cut. However a lot of effort had to go in to make it all seem convincing.

It is believed though that with Grand Masti, he is already on to Kya Kool Hai Hum [Part 10] as the film is ten times more outrageous than the Kya Kool... series.

“We never claimed that the film was meant to be something else. We have said clearly what this film stands for and not cheated the audience.”

As for his wife Genelia D'Souza's reactions to the film, Riteish laughs, “Genelia has been my support system. She trusts me in terms of all the work that I do. We draw a line though. As long as I am not offensive towards anything, she is good with it.”

Kangna Ranaut: Takes on Sanjay Leela Bhansali

(Above): Kangna Ranaut in "Rajjo."

With Bollywood, the unexpected usually happens. Ram Leela was all set to enjoy a solo release in the coming festive season. However the movie now has company. Kangna Ranaut's Rajjo is all set to clash with the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s musical drama.

Makers of Rajjo, M.H. Shah and U.A. Karande, were waiting for an apt time to bring the movie. “Though Kangna plays a prostitute in the film, it isn't a grim affair by any means. Instead, it is a colorful affair and joins Ram Leela in painting the screen red. Pun intended,” informs a source.

Apparently a lot of thought was given before Nov. 15 was decided as the release date for Rajjo, which would incidentally arrive just 12 days after Kangna would be seen in Krrish 3.

With Kangna as well as Deepika playing lead roles in their respective movies, there would be an unlikely clash in the offering.

Says Kangna, “Rajjo is really close to my heart and I am glad it is being released this festive season. As for competition with other films, there would be one every week in any case. I am sure my producers are taking a good call and it comes from the trust and confidence they have in the product. I am particularly proud of the film and my work. The film is special and it will fetch an audience of its own. I strongly believe in director Vishwas Patil and music director Uttam Singh. Once you see the promos, which would be out very soon, you would know what I mean.”

While one looks forward to the first look of Rajjo being unveiled, Eros is gung ho about Ram Leela and is all set to further raise the ante for their Ram Leela.
