Dance Masti: CCF Competition

The Charitable Care Foundation held its annual Raas-Garba, Folk & Film Dance Competition at Chabot College in Hayward, Calif., April 23. The event showcased serious talent from kids, teens and adults alike. Colorful costumes, peppy music, terrific performances, and above all, organizational skills and logistics are key to the success of this event.

CCF, a non-profit organization, donates the proceeds from its events to various causes and relief efforts worldwide, and has managed to make this annual fare a huge hit within the community. Shashi Desai presents a photo essay.
